Deep architectures are at the forefront of machine learning advancements, viewed as the future of technology. Researchers foresee a profound paradigm shift in artificial intelligence driven by these developments. This research domain is especially vibrant, focusing on signal processing, image analysis, computer vision, and biometrics. It includes both supervised and unsupervised methods for object detection, recognition, classification, and synthesis.

The proposed three-week summer internship program is tailored for engineering students from any discipline, whether at the graduate level or beyond. This intensive course aims to deepen their understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience. Participants will engage in approximately 30 hours of sessions, including practical demonstrations.

While specifically designed for graduate and postgraduate engineering students, this program is also open to anyone interested in applying artificial intelligence to image processing. Ideal for PG and PhD students, as well as young professionals, the course focuses on advanced AI, ML, and DL methods to address real-life research problems in signal processing, image analysis, computer vision, and biometrics. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep neural networks, and other models, equipping them to tackle practical challenges with state-of-the-art technology.
